Price Action Foundations

A six-session studio workshop teaching swing structure, candle context, and trade invalidation for discretionary traders.

Who this is for

Discretionary traders with at least a few months of live or paper trading who feel crowded by indicators yet still unsure how to mark a swing, a failed break, or a clean invalidation. You do not need prior formal technical analysis training — you do need charts you already review each week.

What you leave with

By the final evening you will have a repeatable way to mark market structure on your own timeframes, a short list of candle contexts you trust enough to act on, and a written invalidation rule for every setup you still take. The result is fewer mid-range impulse entries and a quieter post-trade journal.

Included

  • Six instructor-led evenings with live chart walkthroughs (equity indices and major FX)
  • Printed structure worksheets and a personal trade-framing template
  • Shared screen annotation during sessions; recordings available for 30 days after each class
  • One written feedback pass on your marked charts between sessions four and five

Not included

  • Broker accounts, signal feeds, or automated strategies
  • Guaranteed trade outcomes or capital advice
  • One-to-one mentoring (available separately)

How the six evenings run

  1. Structure language — swing highs and lows, ranges versus trends, and common mislabels.
  2. Failed breaks — when a break is real enough to trade and when it is a trap.
  3. Candle context — rejection, continuation, and indecision read against the prior structure, not in isolation.
  4. Levels that matter — selecting three active levels instead of decorating the entire chart.
  5. Invalidation & size — writing the line that ends the idea before emotion does.
  6. Session rhythm — a weekly review habit that survives a losing stretch.

Preparation

Bring a laptop with a charting platform you already know. We work on shared examples first, then on charts you mark between sessions. Arrive having noted three trades from the prior fortnight — winners or losers — with the entry rationale written in one sentence.

Constraints

Cohorts are capped at eight seats so every trader can present a chart. Hybrid dial-in is available, but camera-on participation is required for feedback rounds. Markets discussed are educational illustrations, not recommendations.

Next step

Enquire about the next cohort with your experience level and preferred evening. A seat is held once the deposit on the rates page is confirmed.
